Supporting my clients in reaching for their goals and meeting their own needs is what drives me.<\/p>\n<p>I support leaders and international organizations in creating a health-promoting framework in which people &#8211; regardless of their background &#8211; feel welcome, psychologically safe and can develop their full potential.<\/p>\n<p>I am committed to a (working) world in which people think without prejudice, actively listen to each other, are interested in each other, communicate non-violently and value diversity.<\/p>\n<p>I contribute to a society in which all people &#8211; no matter where they come from &#8211; are enabled to pursue meaningful and fairly-paid work that corresponds to their individual talents and personal values. In times of a shortage of skilled workers, this is more important than ever for Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Combining a fulfilling professional and family life should be an achievable goal for everyone. This is an essential prerequisite for staying healthy and productive in the long term. I support you in this.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tMy approach\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>My approach is based on a systemic and solution-oriented way of working that has matured over many years and integrates the latest research findings from neuroscience. I follow the ethics of the International Coaching Federation, of which I have been a member since 2011. Due to my many years of international professional experience and my voluntary work with refugees, I always see diversity and the confrontation with different perspectives, values and cultures as an opportunity to learn from each other and thus to develop as a person and a community. This attitude and the resulting openness to different points of view flow into my work. For me, coaching always has consulting components. If desired or helpful, I am happy to share my knowledge and experience selectively as needed.\u00a0<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tHow I work\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Within a framework of mutual trust, we analyse your individual situation and define the goals that you want to achieve.<\/p>\n<p>I ask questions, listen, control the process, organise, slow down, mirror, encourage, broaden perspectives, give impulses, invite, help you to break and break out, share my knowledge and give you my unshakable belief that you already have the solutions to your issues within you.<\/p>\n<p>With an appreciative and honest outside perspective as well as targeted questions and impulses, I help you to activate hidden resources. Emboldened and clear, you come into action.<\/p>\n<p>I coach in German, English and French &#8211; online and in person in my coaching space at Br\u00fcsseler Platz in the centre of Cologne.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tMy systemic understanding\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>The systemic approach starts from the position that every person is part of different systems and cannot be considered in isolation from them. In this way, I always include interactions, dynamics and patterns that show up in involvement with other people in the process, in order to promote sustainable change. If it makes sense to actively involve other members of the system in the process, this is also possible.<\/p>\n<p>The systemic attitude is characterized by respect, appreciation, solution and resource orientation. Intuition, neutrality and humour are important key factors.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tNeuroscience and Leadership\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Being able to assess the consequences of my actions and to adapt to the needs of one&#8217;s counterpart depending on the situation is an important social skill for every person and especially for leaders. This knowledge is imparted by models from neuroscience and brain research, which became known above all through the work of Dr. David Rock from the Neuroleadership Institute. Leaders can make a significant contribution to whether people feel empowered or threatened by them and whether they do their work feeling either highly motivated or highly frustrated as a result. This knowledge is critical to success, especially for change processes. I use these models for a wide variety of topics because they are easy to implement and help you to understand yourself and others better.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\tNeuroscience and Mindfulness (NeuroMindfulness\u00ae)\n\t\t\t\t\t<p>Mindfulness means first and foremost focusing attention: consciously directing our attention to the present moment with a non-judgmental, interested and benevolent attitude. The target can be the body, but also thoughts, feelings, nature, a hobby or my counterpart, to whom I give my undivided attention. This attitude gives me the freedom in every moment to dedicate myself completely to what I consciously decide to do. Among other things, it leads to greater inner peace, self-confidence, concentration, reduced stress perception, emotion regulation, well-being, clarity, cognitive performance, creativity, compassion and trust. The effectiveness of mindfulness and changes in the brain through regular exercise has been proven in many neuroscientific studies. I use these findings in a targeted manner if necessary and offer models and techniques depending on the topic.
